Cast iron workbench

Botou Beizhong Cast Iron Workbench, also known as cast iron plate or cast iron platform, is suitable for various inspection tasks and serves as a reference plane for precision measurement. It is primarily used as a reference surface in the inspection and measurement of mechanical workpieces, checking dimensional accuracy or geometric deviations of parts, and can also be used for precision marking. It is an indispensable planar reference measuring tool in mechanical manufacturing inspection.
The cast iron workbench is made of high-strength cast iron HT200-300, with a working surface hardness of HB170-240. It undergoes two artificial treatments (artificial annealing at 600°C–700°C or natural aging for 2–3 years), ensuring stable accuracy and excellent wear resistance.
Accuracy of the cast iron workbench: Complies with the national standard metrological verification regulations, with six grades: 00, 1, 2, 3, and fine planing.
Specifications of the cast iron workbench: 200*200–4000*9000 mm (special specifications can be customized according to the buyer's drawings or mutual agreement).
Usage of the cast iron workbench: After wear and tear during use, the cast iron workbench can be re-scraped to restore its accuracy. The flatness of parts can be inspected using the coloring method on the cast iron workbench, offering advantages of accuracy, intuitiveness, and convenience. On a scraped cast iron workbench, pushing the gauge stand and workpiece is smooth without any sticking sensation, facilitating measurement and ensuring accuracy. The quality of the cast iron and heat treatment significantly impact the performance of the cast iron plate: excessive residual stress may cause deformation of the working surface; poor wear resistance may prevent maintaining accuracy; difficulty in scraping may result in inadequate surface roughness. Therefore, when using a cast iron workbench, attention must be paid to the selection of cast iron materials and methods such as aging treatment to eliminate residual stress.
The cast iron workbench can be customized in size and specifications according to customer requirements, with or without supporting brackets.
